FLEET MANAGEMENT SAFETY PROGRAM

All student/volunteer drivers must complete the Fleet Driver Training Program conducted by The Department of Public Safety. The Fleet Driver Training Program consists of 30-45 minutes of classroom instruction, followed by at least 15 minutes of actual hands-on driving of a University van, monitored by an instructor. The uniqueness of driving a full-size passenger van will be emphasized, as well as special safety concerns, throughout the program. ONLY students/volunteers who have completed the program will be authorized to operate a University van.

All training programs need to be scheduled in advance.
